ev.io, a futuristic Halo-esque first-person shooter game in the browser.
The game currently supports two game modes. In the death match, compete against other players for free for everyone to score the highest number of kills. In the team Death Match, work with your team to get the highest number of mass kills.
Ev.io the weapon system in is slightly different from other browser shooters, such as Krunker or Venge, where you can't get weapons on the map. Ev.io in, you choose the primary weapon from which you start: a hand cannon, automatic rifle, or laser rifle. Different primary weapons each feature in a different archetype. For example, the automatic rifle deals low damage but has a fast rate of fire. The laser rifle has high damage, but its rate of fire is low.
In addition to choosing primary weapons, you can also get weapons on the map. There are three possible weapons you receive: a shotgun, a sniper, and a rocket launcher. Collection weapons are slightly more powerful than your primary weapon, but have limited ammunition. So you need to count your shots to take full advantage of them.
The game also features a rather complex skill system, mostly centered around movement and grenades.
Grenades: you can choose 2 of the 3 grenades: smoke grenade, standard grenade and flash grenade.
Movement: spend 3 points on any 3: teleportation, jump and run. For example, you can spend 1 point in Sprint and 2 points for teleportation. If you spend all 3 of them jumping, you can jump 3 times.
Jumping doesn't use endurance, but it does other things like teleportation and running. Ev.io the mechanics of motion in are varied.
